International Interior Design Training and Work Experience.
Hayley Manning trained as a designer through a two year diploma course in Toronto, Canada. The diploma was set up to provide training in Interior Architecture, incorporating knowledge on Canadian Building Regulations and Codes, Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD), as well as learning about colour, textiles, materials and basic electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling systems and joinery specifications. Work experience was mandatory and Hayley carried out her work experience with Levi Strauss & Co. in the Retail and Merchandising department for 18 months while studying.
Hayley continues to develop her range of skills by regularly attending training and seminars related to the design industry, and she is currently updating her AutoCAD and 3D drawing skills.
